Angelika Lialios’s drawing style is influenced by oriental miniature painting and the technique of etching. In her drawings she uses primarily pen and watercolour.

Artists like Monet, Matisse and Van Gogh are among her favourites. Angelika admires Klimt for his landscapes and Macke, Klee, Ghikas and Moralis for their abstract compositions and bright bold watercolours. On canvas she works with acrylic paints. Angelikas collages have Japanese elements and the sculptures recall ancient finds and Japanese netsuke.
